Description
Flora was hit by a passing car one night and she got so scared that she could not even move. Unfortunatelly no one stopped to see if she was okay. The next night, Flora was hit again by a passing car in the same place and that's when the man who had watched everything from his window, called us. We went to the point where she was still and scared and it took about 2 hours before she trusted us and get her in the car. We noticed that she was trying not use her two back legs so we took her to the vet to do all the necessary tests and see if there were any injuries. The x-rays showed that there was no problem in her legs and it was from the shock, so we took her to the shelter where we initially put her in an indoor area with no other dogs in order to learn some things about her character. At first she didn't want us to touch her at all or approach her, but with daily effort and patience we managed to get closer to her. Flora looks happy at the shelter where she now lives with her friends, but we hope she finds what she deserves, a forever family.
