Shelter for stray animals in Santorini
Our animal welfare association was created in 2020 due to our unlimited love for animals and the huge number of stray animals on the island of Santorini and Greece in general.
Our shelter is located in a very beautiful location of 12 acres in Pyrgos, Santorini. In this place, Myrto and Vasilis host over 90 animals that have been rescued from the streets.
The areas where the animals are accommodated are large and comfortable, with many shaded spots, clean water and food during the day, while they also go for a daily walk.
After each rescue, the animal is taken to the veterinary clinic for the necessary treatments, blood tests, vaccinations and remains in the shelter until it's adoption day.
We love animals and provide them with the necessary care from the moment of rescue to their final adoption.
Become a volunteer
With every type of contribution, you help save a defenseless stray pet.
In our shelter, hope and love come alive through the voluntary participation of our people. Everyone can contribute to our effort, whether they have experienced rescuers or simply animal lovers, whether by providing services within the shelter or by donating.
Each volunteer is part of the family we choose to build based on our love for our animal friends, while every penny goes towards rescuing and caring for more animals.
