Dear friends of Stray Paws Santorini,
Since 2020, Stray Paws Santorini has stood by the stray animals of Santorini, offering care, love, and a second chance at life. We have rescued, treated, and found families for hundreds of animals that would otherwise have been left helpless.
Today, we are at a critical point. The property that houses our shelter is going to be sold, and by October 2026, we will no longer be able to continue operating there.
Our intention is clear: we want to continue and find a new place for Stray Paws Santorini. We hope that there are compassionate people who would like to offer a space for our animals so they can keep living with care and love.
Until this solution is found, our goal remains one: for all our animals to find a family — to leave the shelter for a home filled with love and care.
We sincerely thank you for being part of the Stray Paws Santorini story all these years. Together, we can write the most beautiful next chapter.
Rescues, vaccinations, sterilisations etc.
We love animals and provide them with the necessary care from the moment of rescue to their final adoption.
Give a chance to a stray to be your forever friend, the unconditional love you will get is a blessing. Meet your new four-legged friend today!
The needs of an animal welfare organisation as well as a shelter are enormous. Every day we are asked to take on many more cases than we are able to carry out mainly due to the lack of financial resources as there is no help from the state except of a certain number of sterilisations.
We have more than 90 animals in our shelter for which every month we need, in addition to their food, internal and external deworming pills, while the need for vaccinations, tests and medicines never stops. We have also placed a lot of feeders in some places around the island so more strays can be fed.
You can make a donation or a virtual adoption to one of our strays and support our action. Thank you!
